Yesterday I went to my "department" bonfire/BBQ thingy. It didn't start until around 6:15 in the evening and it was in Tel Aviv. I had to come back home that day so obviously I couldn't stay for too long. I think I got to be there for about an hour and that was pretty much it. It SUCKED! Not the BBQ itself rather, the fact that I could only be there such a short time. It made me so depressed because I was really looking forward to it. I love the people I work with and wanted to hang out with them somewhere outside of the base.

It made me hate Tel Aviv, too. It's the fucking second biggest city in the country (well, first biggest depending on how you do the math) and it's hard as hell to get transportation there. I left with Vered and a few other girls who live further away from Tel Aviv. It was only 8:00!! It's not that late at all and it took us more than 30 minutes to get a cab (we lost our hope with buses long before that).
Ahh... Stupid, stupid place.

I'm planning some private BBQ for Friday (even though the time to do it is really tomorrow.. but some of us are stuck in our bases), so I still have something to look forword to. Hope it's gonna be better and you all will be there.
