This picture pretty much reflects the most extreme winter gets in Haifa

Hail that hardly covers the ground, strong wind and thunderstorms... That's what we had this weekend. It's a really huge event when it happens, because it doesn't even happen every year.

After the rain the sun appeared and we had a little rainbow that lasted longer than usual


Suddenly I noticed some kid in the other building trying to catch some hail from his window.

LOL, I used to do it, too
I was always excited about strong rain and hail (even though I'm not exactly a fan of winter).


After a few minutes the kid decided to check if the other window (which faces the same direction) provided a different view.


"No, nothing I haven't already seen... Time to close the window."


"Actually shutting the blinds is a better idea"


"On third thought, this is a great time to put my bag out here till it's dry!"


"Arrrrrrrgh! nevermind, that girl won't stop taking pictures of me. I'm gonna go to the other window!"
