More news: it turns out I am enough of a dork for the intelligence and specifically for the job I wanted, so this is good I guess...

I love my new routine of sleeping at night like a normal person. I didn't know I could have a day routine without a job or anything that officially keeps me busy. So now, instead of going to sleep at 5am and waking up at 2pm I go to sleep around 11-12 at night and wake up at 8-9am. (I'll pause for your applause)
I also "discovered" the newspaper... I know it sounds silly but I really enjoy reading it every morning. All I need to do now is learning to like coffee and get a job and I'll have the perfect "adult's life" just like I imagine it when I was 5 years old.
