My mom and I went downtown (unlike the regular useage of this word in English, I actually mean the "down" part of the town) yesterday morning, and I gotta say I felt like such a foreigner because I don't speak Arabic or Russia. It's also what made us leave earlier than we expected (well, it's not like there was much to see there anyway). Later we went shopping in some other places and I got a lot of things I'd wanted to get in "buy one, get one free" sales, which was cool. That kind of sale is the best!
I also got a stuffed pumpkin (he-he-he-he-he!) And! that's it!

Today I went to Tel Aviv for that interview, and as always I got a train story out of it: some dude with a heavy Russian accent called his boss from the train (it was when we had just left the train station in Haifa), and he lied to him about already being in Tel Aviv (at his work place, I suppose). Seemed like his boss bought his story and the guy was proud of himself and his little scam - he had a huge "I totally scamed him" smile from ear to ear. I couldn't help it but smile too, it was so funny. Later when we got to Tel Aviv he was smiling like this again (probably thinking to himself "my douche-bag boss will never know").

Now, about the interview -- it was fine I think, maybe even good... or even very good! The only problem is that I'm afraid I didn't act nerdy enough. The girl who interviewed me seemed to be in charge of more sophisticated projects where the nerds and the "nerdiness factor" is just extremely high (judging by the way she was talking about it). Anyway, I was being cute (as always :P) and making her smile and appreciate me, I think... I can only hope that the "appreciation" is strong enough.
She said I'll get an answer in 2 weeks.
Anyhow, if the answer is "no" after all, I'm gonna treat it as "no, you're just not nerdy enough for us".
