I wasn't expecting to hear about a 13 year old drunk kid when I asked Elad how was the birthday party of a girl from his school. I don't get how it happened. His parents probably gave him a ride... He's too young to drive and there aren't too many transportation options on friday night. Didn't they notice?! And I'm not even talking about how he got drunk to begin with... It's not hard for even a 5 year old to get booze in this country (even though it's technically illegal - I just read an article about it a week ago).
Elad said his mood was very erratic. He attacked people (he's a big guy), later whined about how he doesn't have friends at all, and at one point start laughing like crazy. Sounds more like he was drugged or having a nervous breakdown. However... it seems to me like kids are exposed to things like this earlier than ever... and I object!
When I was his age I got to see people from my grade smoking, but that was as far as it went. My brother tried a cigarette when he was 10 year old I think... but that was different! It's not like he tried to seem cool in front of his friends or something - It was under my parents supervision and the point was to satisfy his curiosity and leave a bad impression so he wouldn't want to try it again (which didn't really work, but at least the intention was good)
LOL, it reminds me of how we used to have dinner every Saturday at my grandparents house and Elad (who was 3 years old then) was always interested in tasting some cherry liqueur and loved to lick the bottle cork. Cute.

Back to reality! I've been feeling sick for the last two weeks. It's like I constantly have a fever. Maybe it's because of the dry weather. Dryness sucks. Hate it.
These days I'm studding for the psychometric exam - fun... what can I say...
I'm also trying to find a job, but there's nothing available other than jobs like waiter/kitchen worker. For other jobs, they always want people with experience and that already served in the army. How am I supposed to have experience if nobody gives me a chance?! And about the army, I seriously don't think that it changes much, at least not in my case. wra.
I didn't find a job when I was in the mall today but I did find something -- I ran into Basha and Yosef! I haven't seen them for ages! It was so awesome to see them again. We exchanged updated phone numbers :)
On the way out I ran into the principal of the Hadar branch of the Reali grade school and the art teacher from the time I went there (my 6th grade). They haven't change at all and seemed happy to see me. *Sigh* Memories of happy days with less worries.
