I had the two most tense, crazy and stressful days of my life! So that's the story:

Chapter #1
Sunday morning, I was talking to the teacher who's in charge of a half of my grade. Not long before that he found out that the second math test would be on the next day... Anyhow, it seemed like things would work out somehow... Later I had the bible bagrut test... Well, most of you had it the same day... I didn't like the test (no kidding, who likes tests?! who likes tests in bible?!?!?!!?). It was annoying and we didn't really had so many alternatives. Still, I don't think studying more could have helped. I don't think I could have done any better on the test. Honestly, I don't really care... It's not exactly an important subject. That won't stop me from going to the Technion (Lea Latner, the Math teacher and a certified bitch, might do that).

Chapter #2
On the afternoon I had my last driving lesson - shit that was bad. I'm not used to driving while air conditioner is on. It takes a lot of power. This way the car hardly moves on hills and acts weird even on a totally straight way. However, that was my last driving lesson. I got home and called my math teacher. I was thrilled to do that, I have to admit. Yuck, she answered. We kinda argued. She was a bitch through the whole conversation, and I wasn't surprised. Basically she didn't give me any choice. I had to take that test the next day, if not she's giving me a ZERO. She was so generous that she was even ok with giving me two of them!
Except the fact it was very depressing, I'd already set a driving test for monday at 2:45am and another half a lesson before that! I was trapped. I was scared I'm gonna ruin everything - my math test, the driving test. Baaa...

Chapter #3
Monday, 7:30am, I'm at school waiting for the secretary to give me my blessed test. They wrote on the form that the test was meant for 3 hours. I wasn't exactly in the mood for thinking sensibly at the time so it didn't occur to me that it was wrong. I took my time and copied the draft... I knew how to answer 4 of the questions and that was all I needed to know, I just needed a bit more time to write it! 15 min. and it could have been 100. That's gonna be far from 100 but still much better than what I expected. I came back home.

Chapter #4
I couldn't eat. I was too nervous. 2:00am - My driving teacher picked me up from Panorama. I had that half a lesson - that was my worst driving ever. I made so many mistakes. After that, my throat was so dry I was afraid to choke in the middle of the test. Why didn't I bring water?!?! I didn't have time for this conversation with myself. The tester suddenly appeared in the car. I was frightened. The driving was weird but somehow ok. Just before I got to the expressway, while I was waiting at the traffic light I noticed I was still on the third gear. The moment I changed to "drive" the light turned green and the tester had to say something like "what are we waiting for" to make me feel very confident. I passed in each hated place including the coastal highway. At the end I got to the parking part. Usually I have no problem with parking neither parallel nor plumb. Although I really prefer parallel. This time it wasn't easy, it was a bad place to park, eventhough it was a parking lot. I did the parking twice cause it just didn't work the first time. The tester said absolutely nothing. Somehow I did it, I parked in that place and it was fine.

Chapter #5
After the parking I switched with the other girl and she started her test. During her test, while I was sitting in the back seat next to my teacher (yea, he was in the car too) I was thinking about my test. I didn't know what to make of that. The other girl (not exactly girl.. but.. close enough) made much more mistakes and they were bigger also. I didn't like this feeling, but I liked the fact she made all those mistakes. That way, I assumed, the tester should be more into letting me pass. Her test was so long, at least that's how I felt.

Chapter #6
I met Anna after I got off the car. While we were waiting for my dad to pick us up, we noticed the board near the licensing office, where they publish the names of people, who passed the driving test on the same day. It took a long time till we actually could check it by ourselves, cause there were many guys who checked it over and over again. I didn't really understand what took them so long. Anna and I started making up jokes about how they might have been trying to remember all the names or maybe the problem was reading the names either because they can't read that well or the handwriting was really bad. Finally I got to see the paper.

Chapter #7
My name was the third before the last one. I passed :) . Actually, it wasn't exactly my name. They changed it a bit, but it was definitely my ID number. The list wasn't very long so we changed our guess about what took those guys so long to: "they might had been trying to remember all the ID numbers too". I didn't really care of those dudes. I was happy. Happy, but in away indifferent too. I was so tired. Maybe too tired to be really excited about it. I think everyone was happier for me than I was. Anyhow I'm glad those days are behind me.
